Long before co-hosting and co-producing The Gator & Denise Show, a young Gator Gaynor found inspiration to hit the radio airwaves from WKRP in Cincinnati.  Molding himself as a mesh of Johnny Fever and Venus Flytrap, Gator quickly found his niche behind the microphone after a local music station in Colorado took a chance with him. Always viewing the radio as an opportunity to reach out to people and the community, he spent the next few decades gaining experience on both state radio networks as well as local radio stations. Now, as a Program Director who has honed his ears to recognizing what the audience wants to hear, and with his combination of radio background and community involvement, it was just a matter of time before the two would be combined into what is now The Gator & Denise Show. For Gator, it’s both a two-hour conversation on the radio as well as a door for conversations to happen around the area. Never shy to push back on the ongoing onslaught to all that is part of our American heritage, he balances a firm standing on the truth with a compassionate heart for those who need help. As a voice of encouragement, Gator’s goal for himself and for listeners is to take personal responsibility along with continuing the pursuit of loving people with all that we say and do. After a life-time of moving around the United States, and finally moving to the Pacific NorthWest in early 2014, Gator and his wife are thrilled to call Oregon home… that is, as long as “they” don’t drive us into the ground. For now, we stand firm, we love deeply, and we continue to “be good.”

Denise Quinn Nanke, as co-host and co-producer of The Gator & Denise Show, brings a vast wealth of experience to the daily program. She has appeared on the Glenn Beck television program, The Oprah Winfrey show, and was “the Strongest Link” during her appearance on the syndicated game show Weakest Link. She has been a guest on a variety of local and national radio programs as well as produced news segments and lent her voice to radio commercial ads. Denise has run several news, information, and opinion blogs including Salem-Keizer Sentinel and, as well as contributing to other regional and national blogs. She maintains a large communications network of journalists, authors, artists, as well as liberty activists from across the country. She has spent much of the last ten years working to promote conservative principles and elect people who fight for freedom and limited government. Locally, Denise served on the board of the Salem 912 project, the executive board of Marion County GOP, and was twice elected delegate to the Oregon Republican Party where she participated in two state platform conventions. 2016 proved to be a turbulent year in national politics prompting Denise to take a thoughtful step back from party activism and concentrate on providing listeners of The Gator & Denise Show with a full-spectrum of opinion and robust discussion with a clear focus on local issues. Born in New Jersey and growing up in central New Hampshire, Denise, along with The Mustache (married since 1990), has called the Northwest her home for many years and has no plans to abandon the state unless “they” continue to win and further plunge Oregon into the progressive abyss. Until, and unless that happens, she’s staying put with her dukes up (that’s the Jersey talking there)!
